Travel History Request | Canada Immigration Forum

I’m at the final stages of PR and everything seems to be going well (it’s been 15 months since I applied). I finally heard from immigration and they sent me a request letter asking for my travel history from December 2016 to present day.

In my sponsorship application I already explained that I entered Canada on December 15, 2016 and never left. I have a visa stamped in my passport that expired February 10, 2017. That’s the only stamp in my passport.

So the only entry is December 15, 2016 and I never exited Canada at all. They are stating that I can get a report of travel and I requested it 35 days ago and still haven’t gotten a response.

My question is if this is just to help me remember my entry/exits if I forgot them? Or are they actually demanding that I send them this official travel history report from CBSA?

Here is the exact request in the e-mail:

> Travel History into Canada: Provide your travel history (entries and exits) from December 2016 to present day. A report of travel into Canada can be obtained free of charge by writing to: Canada Border Services Agency, 410 Laurier Ave. West 11th floor Ottawa, ON K1A 0L8. Or visit http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/agency-agence/reports-rapports/pia-efvp/atip-aiprp/thr-rav-eng.html. This must be received at this office by: 2020/11/17

Can I just create a PDF file that includes a letter stating again that I entered on December 15, 2016 and the border crossing I used and that I never left? I would also include a scanned copy of my bio page on my passport and the stamped page with the CBSA Visa I mentioned.

Is this what they are asking for an is it sufficient enough? Is this normal?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel like if I get past this point I should get my PR finally and I’ve been waiting for an eternity!!! I’m so nervous.
